season 1 was excellent
season 2 was quite good
season 3 started to go off the rails , more about relationships , less about policework
season 4, watched about 3 episodes and said fcuk this crap

thus is my review of what started as an excellent TV series - they should have stopped after series 1

It would have been more entertaining if Vic had killed the FBI bitch and framed Dutch for the murder.

I always felt Dutch got it easy, surely he was asking for something to happen to him,

he could have made the perfect plant as a victim of the team games

the final scene was quite strong and telling, a good ending and a bad ending at the same time

That's not someone, it's 21 critics and 421 people who have watched series 4 that gave that rating, a lot more reliable than Butterfly's Belgian subtitle reading mate

Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm all for watching it, in fact I just started, the opening scene with the kid buying the HILTI nail gun is priceless.....

I guess it's all about taste and opinions when it comes to TV

but a number of fans who watched it said it was a bit of a letdown, not necessarily making it a bad show, but just boring

I might still go for it eventually since I have nothing to watch these days, and it has been a long time since Season 3, so for me it will be like watching a whole new series

90% of the time, the real fans are actually correct. Don't listen to critics, they have a different benchmark and might be surrounded by so much garbage watching, that eventually anything a bit better than the average becomes "extraordinary"

Bugger me, I'm on my third attempt to get into Game of Thrones. I end up going to the fridge halfway through the third episode, then checking work emails, which subsequently ends up with me surfing the web, totally forgetting about the program. I haven't heard one person say a bad word about it, yet I just can't gel with it.
