"Cook the man some eggs, bitch!" was perhaps the most often repeated line. It morphed into "Cook me some eggs, bitch".

Took my youngest and a few of his mates to watch it at the cinema, great graphics and very similar to a kids Avatar movie, they enjoyed it.

I might have nodded of at times.

"Dragged Across Concrete". Painful sounding, but very watchable new Mel Gibson film. Suspended cop turns bad and gets into some very dangerous business with an extremely brutal armed robbery gang. Takes a while to get going, but worth it.

A fine documentary. Enjoyable and watchable thanks to the famous Boyle irreverent humour.

    Hanna (TV, 2019).

The movie was pretty good, so I'll give this a shot.

And Highwaymen (2019) in decent flavours.

    Re: Hanna (above).

It's on Amazon Prime and it isn't geolocked (at least not here in the sandpit), so if you have that, give it a try.

    "The Highwaymen" is quite good.

Just watched "Training Day" again. Great cop movie and Denzel at his best.

...Just saw "Us", the new fright pic from Jordan Peele...actually, it's more of a horror procedural: the good guys fight to overcome the evil guys using a variety of techniques...lengthy, tedious and utterly predictable: I don't understand the rave reviews the movie received. The acting isn't nuanced in the slightest, a number of the horror scenes are laughably silly and yes, there's a "let's check out the rooms upstairs" moment...the scariest parts are the editing jump cuts the audience easily anticipates...I'd give this poor effort a miss...4.5/10

TBH there was a whole load of anticipation because of his previous movie, but I haven't seen anyone who thinks it's good.

It doesn't surprise me that you identify with the proclivities of the central character.

The Destination Weeding on Amazon Prime,

with Keanu Reeves and that silly Genx woman who is now old and in her 40s

Actually quite enjoyable, not a girl movie, but more like an unPC philosophical movie on the nature of men and woman relationship,

I was expecting the worst, and it was actually well played. Had a Woody Allen type of feeling if you get my drift

My initial thought as well, but I took a look due to Woody. Very good movie.

Surely if he were as interesting as buttsy he'd have made a better job of 'Dances With Wolves'.

Actually he's passable in Mr. Brooks if you haven't seen it, with good backup from William Hurt.
