First drink of the New Year. I know how that poor amphibious creature must feel
"La Mante" ("The Mantis"). SEA1. Hardcoded subtitles. Six-episode 1st season of a pretty good French cop show. Using a serial killer to catch a copycat. Lot of twists. The main detective's girlfriend is also hot, in kind of a Debra Wingerish way back when she was in "An Officer and A Gentleman". 7.5/10.

Barquero 1971, Lee Van Cleef
Darkest hour is on tpb site, masterful portrayal of Churchill as he takes over as PM in May 1940. Only let down by a ludicrous, and of course PC scene when he goes on a trip on the tube. That almost ruins what otherwise is a great film.

Prolly be crucified for this one but...
Watched the first four episodes of 'This Is Us' on a recent flight (that's all that they had on the in-flight entertainment system).
Admittedly it's a bit saccharine and schmaltzy and it could've been jet-lag and/or the wine but I rather enjoyed it and like the time-hopping stuff so just downloaded the rest of the first season last night.
or a page number
of course not
need to find that on your own, no idea where
I don't like foreign films, they should all be made in English! except Japanese porn of course.

^Subscene has subs for most movies and shows. SRT files. Put them in the same folder then make sure they are the same title as the movie file but with .srt at the end.
Mate recommended Detroit. Haven't watched it yet, but looks and sounds good.
Detroit (2017) - IMDb
True story about corrupt racist cops in the Detroit riots.
"Hostages" SEA1. Ten episodes. Hardcoded subs. On PB. Israeli crime drama. A doctor and her family are held hostage in their home to pressure the doctor to screw up a pending surgical operation, which will result in the death of the Prime Minister. 8/10.

Holly shit, watched that movie yesterday, and it seems to be a real story, fucking surreal
and TheRoom is a real movie apparently, never heard of it, but there is a huge cult of fans apparently and it's now making money
the real main character is even more scary than the excellent interpret
^The real main character described as "The Orson Welles Of Crap"
Good yarn though. The history and back-story here: https://www.vox.com/culture/2017/12/...tory-explained
