I personally dont watch that many TV series but I noticed a few people do. I spotted this app the other day, may be of use to some of you series freaks out there.

Its called TED (torrent episode downloader)

"ted can find episodes of any TV show you like to watch. Just add your favorite shows to ted and he will search for the newest episodes and downloads them for you. ted uses bittorrent and RSS technology to get you the newest episodes as fast as possible!"

I cant vouch for it as Ive never used it. You can find it here for Win/Mac/Linux

Wish I knew how to make this 800x600......

It works fine for public trackers but I can't get anything to work for Private.

The filters (min seeds, min / max file size etc ) determine what it looks at, so if you get it wrong you miss out, e.g. an extra long episode.

Unlike a client RSS feed that automatically sticks it in your D/L tray and starts downloading, with Ted you have to acknowledge in the client the 'add torrent' part.

If I can get rid of the defaut trackers and say insert Demonoid only then OK.

It has >200 tv shows listed.

Cheers ^ Just looked at the memory usage which for me is important, not a lot of Ram. Mem Usage 23MB Virtual 43MB = way too much.

^ get more memory, I use Memory upgrades, flash media, and usb storage at Crucial.com, it checks your machine to find what type of memory you want, really cheap, in the post in 2 days.

RSS with TheBox works perfectly, but it ain't so good on other sites.

The problem with Ted is it searches for torrent files with the most popular tracker announces - PirateBay, Demonoid, Denis.Stalker and Sumo and these are so overloaded the speed you get is shit.

You can check the sign up status for private trackers. Most places are invite only but they sometimes have open registrations for a few days/hours/minutes so if you really want to sign up for mma-central.org.uk or sexotorrent.com head over sharpish.

Hi, as I have finally worked out how to use this torrent thing I have managed to download a few movies which has been great.

I am having trouble finding stuff for the kids though that has enough seeds so that it takes less then 14 days to download as I am currently doing now o an episode of play house Disney's 'Little Einstein's'

Would love to find some Little Einsteins's, Micky Mouse and the Wiggles etc.

Any ideas?
