anybody can go to war
but what happens if you are winning?"
The Sons of Sam is worth a watch on Netflix...some rabbit holes there.
Chitty's Seaspiracy recommendation was bob on too.
Just finished watching The Show Must Go On on Netflix. Well put together and some great music.

^ Worth a watch. I'm not a Queen fan and am still not really after watching. But a good story nonetheless.
Gods Of Snooker
3 part series chronicling how the UK was transfixed by snooker in the 1980s.
A real trip down memory lane this. One of my housemates in N. London used to watch the finals from Sheffield in a waistcoat and dickie bow.
Watching "The World At War" for about the third time. Great series!
^^

1971: The Year That Music Changed Everything
Just watched part 1 of this, with the focus on Vietnam and Lennon.
Looks like a very well put together series.
Aired on Al-Jazeera:
Thailand’s Cannabis Revolution
In the first country in Asia to legalise medical marijuana, some promise it will alleviate poverty and even cure cancer.
Thailand’s Cannabis Revolution | Courts | Al JazeeraFor decades, Thailand was at the forefront of the war on drugs.
Known for flooding the world with drugs from the Golden Triangle, Thailand’s laws became so tough, the country now tops the list in Asia for the rate of incarceration.
But recently, the military-led government shocked the world by announcing plans to legalise medical marijuana, or cannabis.
Supporters promise a plant that could alleviate poverty and even cure cancer.
As the new law takes effect, 101 East investigates how many of these promises are hype and how many are politics.
It was aired already 2 years ago, can be watched on-line, 26min, quite interesting, with the increased interest in licensed growing in Thailand.
^I caught that.
It was like watching BC's Cannabis Revolution many many moons ago.
Ridiculous projections re: cancer cures, etc. and huge boatful's of gold bullion heading in Thailand's direction.
A bit ridiculous no Klondyke?
^Actually quite promising. I have few more closer views on this matter since my wife is connected with a group of people who are in a process to obtain the proper licensing, then start something.
Apocalypse 45.
WWII doco with what I found an irritating format.
But there is some really good footage I haven't seen before.
On the whole, worth a watch (80 mins).
Do you only know one torrent site?
Here's some more.

Bit of a story here. At the time I was living in Spain, and had tickets for a Rolling Stones concert at Fedex Fields just outside D.C., and went there for a long weekend. At the time, I was flying a lot with Swissair, had a gold card, and always stayed at the Swiss Hotel in Zurich when in transit and had a gold card with them also. We flew with Swissair to D.C. and got upgraded, and I'd booked the Watergate Hotel, owned by Swiss Hotels. When we checked in, again I was upgraded to a suite which had large panoramic windows overlooking the Potomac and also the infamous Watergate building. I turned on the TV looking for news of a hurricane that was expected to hit New Orleans as we had friends there. What came up was the breaking story of the sniper, which was now no longer viewed a one off as he'd shot dead his third victim. My ex wife's face went white, and she quickly drew the curtains of these large windows. I don't think they were opened again for the rest of the weekend. I recall the local police chief became something of a celebrity, as he was never off the TV screens.
It's grim stuff. Especially the 911 calls.
Tonight on French TV5 at 19:50 (E - subtitles)
