What's your favourite Madness album track?

What is your favourite Madness song which isn't on a greatest hits compilation?

I like Calling Cards and I like New Delhi and I like Rise and Fall which are all on their best album of the latter name which is the one with Our House on it which I skip past to hear Sunday Morning which was written by Woody the drummer who is the drummer.

Madness are currently doing Desmond Deker and Kinks covers under the name, 'The Dangermen' and it's a great album, though their version of Lola is shit.
"I'm an outsider by choice, but not truly. It's the unpleasantness of the system that keeps me out. I'd rather be in, in a good system. That's where my discontent comes from: being forced to choose to stay outside.
My advice: Just keep movin' straight ahead. Every now and then you find yourself in a different place."

I used to listen to Madness, and I agree that Rise and Fall was very good in places.

There are three songs that immediately spring to mind: My Girl, Baggy Trousers and Our House, but they're not necessarily the best.

DD listens to dodgy 80s disco in the car. Fekkin' pooftah!

The 80's was shit apart from Madness and Morrissey.

The 90's was shit apart from Beck and Blur.

Best band of the millenium thus far?

    As yet undecided.

I like 'Tomorrow's Just Another Day' and 'Michael Caine'. Got to say that Suggs gets on my nerves with that cheeky-chappy act. The sort of person you'd want to smother if you spent more than a day in their company - 'For fcks sake act normally!'

I know what you mean, he is nearly fifty and still thinks that putting his finger in his ear then pulling it out and looking at it in a 'taken aback' stance is funny.

He's not really much of a singer either but he gets away with it somehow.
