This is one of three screenplays he's written from Stephen King novellas.
He asked King's permission to change the ending of "The Mist", and even King thought he was warped, which is saying something. Put that on your late night list next, the missus may cower behind the sofa (well I don't know, maybe even you will <heh>).
And I can only assume you've seen "The Green Mile" as well. I just loved the whole feel of that movie from beginning to end.
It's a shame they kicked Darabont off "The Walking Dead", the drop in quality is quite palpable.
The next post may be brought to you by my little bitch Spamdreth
Yeah a lot of season 2 of the walking dead stunk the house out although it got better towards the end.
Adulthood
English movie were they all speak in American Black slang, worth a watch just to see where the kids are coming from these days.
Its about a lad thats just out of prison for murder, and finds theres a gang after him, for revenge.
The Disappearance Of Alice Creed
Low budget flick about a girl kidnapped by two men and held for ransom.
Good acting, with some good twists, keeps the tension going throughout.
Worth watching. 7/10

[quote=crocman;2088964]Did you watch Kidulthood first,a much better movie which sets the tone for the follow up. Also check out skets but if you want to watch the daddy of this genre try Scum.
will give it a view Kiddulthood, and skets thanks
Scum and clockwork orange i found many years ago to be a little sick.
Tucker and Dale vs Evil
Watched this again last night, if you haven't watched it yet you really should.
One of the funniest films in a long time, it's a spoof horror/gore film, and very well made. The film parodies the genre superbly, with a clever twist on the usual teen/hillbilly murder orgy, the gore is better for being understated, giving the comedy, which is full of slapstick and stereotypes, center stage.
8/10

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"
Just finished Matrix 1 and 2. Forgot how good those films were and Jesus, time flies!
Makes Avatar and likes look total bobbins!
Watched Mean Streets last night. Scorcese 1973 with very young Bobby Deniro and Harvey Keitel. Hadn't watched this in years and had forgotten how silly we all looked back then. A good movie which virtually kicked off a new generation of movies and moviemakers.
I find they complement each other in that order though.
A bit like a nice morsel of stilton before a vintage port.
I finally got around to watching The War Horse directed by Steven Spielberg. It's a beautiful film with a nostalgic look and feel. I loved some of the shots even though they were obviously homages to iconic film directors such as Victor Fleming and John Ford. 8/10
'Avengers' because my missus wanted to watch it. As far as action movies go it was pretty entertaining. Although the storyline wasn't dissimilar to the latest Transformers movie, i was pleasantly surprised. First movie i've watched in 3D too. Can't say i'm keen on the experience!
You bullied, you laughed, you lied, you lost!
Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol (2011)
As expected, a big pile of entertaining shit if you are bored
^Walked out half way through.
Watching 'God Bless America'. Pretty good.
Just watched a really strange one. "This Must Be The Place". Sean Penn as an aging rock star in search of the Nazi guard who tormented his father in one of the camps. The movie was so-so, but Penn's portrayal of an aging rock star was superb. Movie 6/10. Penn: 10/10.
^ I didn't realise until 30 minutes into the film that Penn was actually portraying an aging rock star. I serious thought that he was some kind of weird looking transexual bloke.
Back in a minute to put a pic up.
Wait there...
Here you go.

Black diamonds? I shit 'em.
Ever since he pranced around in some stupid south american national dress dancing to the pan pipes saying the Argies should get the Falklands back, I've considered him to be nothing more than a gobby fucking twat.
I think the South Park boys got him right in "Team America".
He's a fucking F.A.G.
The last film I watched was in black and white " George Formby at the TT races " it was at Saturday morning pics many decades ago ,, I got me ABC minors badge , it was illuminous in the dark , we waited for the boys to come out the hi/so Odeon club and we beat em up .
That was the first and last film I ever watched .
I'm proud of my 38" waist , also proud I have never done drugs![]()
Eye-watering account of the greedy bankers and corrupt and/or incompetent politicians, academic economists and regulators that drove the financial markets over a cliff - but who ejected safely themselves moments before the rest of us went tumbling down.
'Inside Job' provides a comprehensive analysis of the global financial crisis of 2008, which at a cost over $20 trillion, caused millions of people to lose their jobs and homes in the worst recession since the Great Depression, and nearly resulted in a global financial collapse. Through exhaustive research and extensive interviews with key financial insiders, politicians, journalists, and academics, the film traces the rise of a rogue industry which has corrupted politics, regulation, and academia. It was made on location in the United States, Iceland, England, France, Singapore, and China. IMDb
Undisputed 2.
Was bored stiff last night browsing youtube and stumbled on a clip of this movie and downloaded it.
It isn't fantastic, but i've seen worse at the cinema (Mission Impossible). Overall i thought it was a pretty good fighting movie. Bloodsport type.
The actor in it then reminded of 'SPAWN' so i downloaded that too.
