I have no idea, all I know is - it was fuked.

The system started to play up when I started to watch one film, just after I started to download another (but, I had just plugged in a webcam to try out skype...).

Serves you right for stealing films ! You are a wicked person and will almost certainly go to Hell when Jesus finds out what you have done.

It's not a special effects movie, just a drama, a 700Mb rip will do fine.
Yea mate. i looked on VCDQ.com - Latest Movies, Games and TV-Shows Online to see if it was released on scene, which it wasnt. saw the film this afvo. If it didnt have Jude law and Kate ETC in the movie, you would be thinking its was one of those documentary/films.

    A very low 4/10

I loved No country. Real great movie. Which reminds me, and i have no idea why. I'll have to hunt down and see if Deliverance is out on Blu Ray.

Pod is a man without a dream. He's a country bumpkin who comes to work at a tinned sardine factory in Bangkok. One day, Pod chops off his finger and packs it in the can, prompting him to go around looking for his lost finger at various supermarkets. The incident convinces him to change his job, and Pod becomes a security guard at a large company. There he meets Jin, a lanky maid who carries a mysterious white book around even though she cannot read a single word written in it. The aimless Pod has a crush on Jin, a dreamy girl who dreams that one day she'll be able to decipher the meaning of the white book. In this bright, colour-splashed world of director Wisit Sasanatieng,

    A Simple Plan A Simple Plan (1998) - IMDb

Sam Raimi directs Bill Paxton and Billy Bob Thornton star. 2 brothers and their mate (in the middle of nowhere) find $4,000,000 in a downed airplane. The story goes from there. Some of the reviews compared it to Fargo and I can see the similarities, but they are mainly just the settings and it deals with people being corrupted by money. It's quite funny in parts but very dark. Paxton and Thornton are excellent in it, decent 7/10.

^ If there aren't any scenes featuring a snorkel, a gardening glove and a bout of rampant masturbation, I'm simply not interested.

    Tyrannosaur Tyrannosaur (2011) - IMDb

Written and Directed by Paddy Considine it stars Peter Mullan and Olivia Coleman. Drama about an alcoholic with anger problems who strikes up a friendship with a woman who works in a charity shop. It's both funny and sad in parts but very fucking bleak and hard to watch at times. If you like Ken Loach type stuff then this is for you. 7.5/10

I don't get why anyone would make (or watch) a movie that could be described as 'bleak'.

This is the 2009 version not the new release. An excellent film if a little gruesome topic. Well worth a download.

"Forty years ago, Harriet Vanger disappeared from a family gathering on the island owned and inhabited by the powerful Vanger clan. Her body was never found, yet her uncle is convinced it was murder and that the killer is a member of his own tightly knit but dysfunctional family. He employs disgraced financial journalist Mikael Blomkvist and the tattooed, ruthless computer hacker Lisbeth Salander to investigate. When the pair link Harriet's disappearance to a number of grotesque murders from almost forty years ago, they begin to unravel a dark and appalling family history. But the Vangers are a secretive clan, and Blomkvist and Salander are about to find out just how far they are prepared to go to protect themselves."

    Pretty much.

Bleakness is part of life, who wants to watch it in a movie as well?
Movies are a form of escapism, fantasy.
In hard times in the past movie theaters were one business that thrived.
I would think people who like to watch bleak movies would be pretty bleak themselves.

Cinema is an art form, and while I enjoy a block buster as much as the next man, it's good to watch something thought provoking or different. Hollywood has it's place but they churn out saccharine sweet bullshit a lot of the time. "hey man let's make them all live happily ever after" "er....we're filming the normandy landings"

People who watch bleak movies are bleak themselves?

    Ergo you're a fantasist?

The last thing people in a slump want to watch is a bunch of shining happy people frolicking about. When life is looking like a series of disappointments leading unto death I prefer something like Mike Leigh's "Naked." Same with music; if you are feeling blue the blues are the thing.

I hadn't rally thought about it like that before. I'm a very happy go lucky person, but I like to watch films with more than a degree of realism to them. Maybe it's a British malaise? :-)

Naked though is a great film.
