    Transporter 3, 2008

French production movie, with that same guy again, he is quite good in this role

scenario a bit weak but entertaining, a lot of nice "visual" kick fights etc... great if you have a HTS, otherwise don't bother as the sounds is everything

Last House on The Left - Remake of a Wes Craven classic. Basic premise - girl borrows family car to go meet mate for the day. She meets her mate and end up running into some very bad people who kidnap them. They end up doing all sorts of nasty stuff (tape/torture)and leave her for dead. By twist of fate - the nasty lads end up in the family home asking for assistance from the doctor (father), not knowing they infact end up at the victims home. The father gets wind of what they did and the tables are turned??? 4/10

On the weekend I watched, 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.' The movie was phenomenal. It also picked up three academy awards. Starring Brad Pitt, and Cate Blanchett, with a host of other fantastic characters. The film is adapted from the 1920's story by F. Scott Fitzgerald.

The movie is about a man who is born in his eighties and ages backward. He can't stop time. His story is a traveller's tale starting in New Orleans at the end of World War ll, up to the 21st century. The characters, he meets along the way, make this movie about moments in life. The move is a romance, suspense and drama all wrapped up in one. I'd give it a 9/10.

^ I thought Role Models was just standard hollywood slapstick - there were a couple of genuinely funny lines but overall I did not think it was worth watching.

Overrated, overhyped and over 2h 45. Forrest Gump cloned.

Dead boring it was, got half way thru it and bailed out in favour of the more exciting pastime of watching my fingernails grow.

    The Nines
Y9u never kn9w when y9ur number is up

TV heartthrob actor accidently burns down his house and goes on a bender. He is assigned a chubby handler to take care of him and put under house arrest. After spending a bit of time reading and jerking off to keep himself occupied things start to get strange and reality starts to get blurred as different worlds start to collide.

It's a musical & a reality tv show & scifi rolled into one storyline. There's a small twist in the end which is slightly disappointing but original.

Some TV series actors have cameo roles as themselves(tv series actors).

    Different and enjoyable.

So did I. Didnt enjoy watching the same film rehashed with different characters and Brad Pitts monotone narration.

Not bad I suppose, it's about some dull looking bird who falls in love with a vampire.

    Yes Man

Typical, predictable, harmless Jim Carry family mush.

    Southland Tales (2006)

This was a bit much to take in. To be honest I didn't really like it that much, possibly because I didn't understand it - even so, some of the visuals and themes in it were very striking and have stuck in my mind.

I love Donnie Darko by the same director, but I can't say the same thing about this one. Still, a slightly better waste of time than the usual predictable drivel.

Killshot: crap (little wonder it took 4 years to be released from the can, saved somewhat by mickey Rourke's understated performance and probably only saved from a straight to dvd release owing to Rourke's wrestler)

A Tale of two sisters : brilliant and spooky Korean ghosty movie that Hollywood failed miserably (yet again) to reproduce last year with the Uninvited.

Ken Burn's The Civil War (1990)

All 9 episodes, downloaded and devoured!

I've always wanted to watch this again, and was very pleased to find it out there in torrent land. I was a bit taken aback to realize this epic documentary first aired almost 20 years ago...doesn't seem that long ago, must be getting old.

"The Midnight Meat Train" Starring "Vinnie Jones" What a pile of absolute CRAP!
but previously, and pretty good too was "Indian" with Anthony Hopkins, didn't get much of a public release, but it is a fine movie.

"The Wrestler" is a pretty good one too, but it is a bit depressing, don't watch it if your world is falling apart!

    Tango & Cash (again).

    It's still pretty crap.

    All the Rambo movies.

Rambo I was fairly good, II was not quite as good, III was pretty good and IV was the best as he wipes out an entire battalion of the Burmese Army.
