    ^BF,

    Sure try this one:Demonoid.com - Encounters.At.The.End.Of.The.World.LIMITED.PROPER. DVDScr.XViD-BaLD

Are you a Demonoid member? It's an external torrent so shouldn't really matter; let me know if you have problems though as I've got some invites spare still

Snap! That's exactly my ratio right now too (was up to 1.87 at one stage).

    Sexy Beast.

Thought I wasn't going to enjoy it. Actually a really good movie. Not sure if it was meant to be a comedy but good at that level. Ben Kingsley plays a psychopath and does it with menace.

    7/10

    An absolute treat.
For a change, a movie I really really enjoyed.
Winslett plays a bored suburban housewife in a middle class American suburb.
Based on a quite comic novel, the movie is far more dark and has few truly funny moments.
We get a look behind the scenes of average American households including
a paedophile who has moved into their peaceful suburban world and caused a lot of jumpiness.
Can't be bothered to write too much, but it is excellent, terrific, wonderful.

    9/10
Downloading it now - you better be correct CMN.....
It is an excellent film with a traumatic, harrowing ending that you will not see coming.
Will do now, thanks for the spoiler.

    ^ Agreed.

You'd think people would have the sense to not talk about the end of films in here wouldn't you.

^Are you unable to read? The thrashing is for BkkAndrew, tho' CMN isn't averse to giving away an ending. Remember BSG ?

Hardly a fucking spoiler. WTF is wrong with you people? Harrowing ending? That fucking gives it all away!

Can't even be bothered to respond to all the reds. Just won't bother posting film reviews again as they might 'spoil' your surprise.

The Hunting Party (2008) with Richard Gere

the apparently true story of a couple of journalists who decide to hunt down "The Fox" in Serbia for the 5 million USD reward,

The Fox is the Serbian war criminal who got arrested recently,

First part of the movie is the true story, with all kind of crazy situations in post-war Serbia, the second part is said to be "what happened" to the Fox after they found him. Of course this was before the real arrest of Karadzic happened, so not sure if there was any truth in the second part of the film, or if they were accessory to his arrest

some of the whack characters and crazy situation in the movie are apparently all true, a lot of interesting twist involving the CIA, the UN peaceforce etc...

Will watch again, as I quite liked that one

    Body of Lies

For a moment I thought I was watching Blood Diamond again. This time it is Iraq, because they say so and there are more moslems about.

    watchable but nothing new.

Retribution - Jap Cop investigates a murder of pretty bird. The case gets curious when evidence points to him. No actors of note unless you are Japanese - typical j horror type film, but this one lost me and I didnt understand what the fk was going on. 4/10

    Ghost in The Shell

This is an animated Japanese Manga movie.

Im a bit pissed so here we go

Cyborg female tries to track down the "Puppet Master" who is hacking other cyborg style people in government or something.

Cyborg female has very very nice tits for a cartoon and the story and setting of the city etc for me were excellent. I havent watched a lot of Manga but this was good, best watched with Japanese soundtrack and English subs.

So instead of reviewing I give you RT's opinions. Would you pay to see this ?

    • Tough in places but compelling, this is the best action movie since the Bourne Supremacy.
    • With dialogue as convincing as power-sharing talks in Zimbabwe, characters so two-dimensional they’d be drummed out of a comic strip, and a hero who makes Jack Bauer look like a dithering idiot, Taken is hands down the unintentional comedy of the year.
    • The only puzzle of this toxically stupid Europhobe thriller is that its director (Pierre Morel) and producer (Luc Besson) are both French.
    • A nasty, grubby, pointless little thriller that hardly warrants a single star.
    • Superbly directed, with a terrific performance from Liam Neeson, this bone-crunching, arse-kicking action thriller is one of the guiltiest pleasures of the year.
I've got a free torrent and may watch it later.
