Inability to connect to Teakdoor

I could not connect to Teakdoor for 24 hours recently....I thought the site was down, because I could connect with every other site I visited (and still can).

I get a message saying the connection times out.

I asked a friend if he could connect and he could. So I tried connecting through a VPN and I can connect OK (I had never previously used a VPN, and no...I do not have a multi-nic).

It's still the same scenario.

My ISP here in OZ is TPG....they're cut-rate and pretty pathetic....however they did ask me to run a traceroute and send the screenshot to them. No answer though.

Any ideas, anyone ?

It seems that every other site on the planet, I can connect to normally....but for TD I need to use a VPN to connect.

Might be the direct DSL connection with teakdoor.

Next time this happens, disconnect your DSL and principle internet plugs from your modem - wait 10-15 seconds. Connect the two leads back in. Wait a minute for all to set itself again.

No need to reboot.
This usually works.

Tried that...no luck.
I've also flushed the DNS cache. No luck.

It's weird. Without using a VPN, I can connect to every other website I choose, but not Teakdoor.

It was only by chance I decided to use a VPN. And that is how I am posting now.

I've run Superantispyware, Malwarebytes, and Advanced System Care. Still the same. WTF ??

I still have the problem.....Teakdoor appears to be the only website in the world I cannot connect to. I have to use a VPN to get on here.

My ISP got me to run a traceroute but haven't commented on the screenshot I sent.

I forgot to mention : I did develop the "black screen of death" recently and had to restore the computer to a previous good point, via Safe Mode.

Then it happened again. But all good now, apart from no TD without a VPN.

click on the start button and type run and hit enter

then type cmd and hit enter

should have a black command line interface

then type ping teakdoor.com

then type tracert 119.81.0.75

screengrab and crop and black out the first IP ( or maybe the first couple until you get to the ISP ip )
