    Thai Music Torrents

So...My brother in Law just bought a new stereo and he's asked me to try and find some Thai tunes for him to annoy the neighbourhood with. You know the score, cheap amp and cd player and two massive PA speakers to go with it.

I've checked on The Pirate Bay and Isohunt but the pickings are slim to say the least? Anyone got any recommendations (apart from not to bother). Thai language sites are fine, I can get the Mrs. to choose the albums.

    Cheers

    Al

siamsmile.org is one that has music torrents. You have to register
You might be lucky and find some that are well seeded. But thats going to be a problem no matter what sites you go on, i would think

^Yeah I noticed that on Pirate bay. even the ones that they had on there were not seeded very well.

Thanks for the pointer though. I'll have a look.

    Bummer!!!
And i cant see if they do invites, either
Depending on how desperate you are there is this one....asiatorrents.com
But they want you to complete a "survey" before allowing you to register

^ I might have to do that as the Mrs. is being all Thai about things.

Last week a mate came round and I gave him a load of films and series that I already have on my hard drive, so today when she asked if i could do some music for her brother I said sure no worries. Not much on pirate bay and can't register on siamsmile. Tried to explain this to her and was countered with "if your friend want you do straight away". I tried to explain the difference but to no avail. So I'm partly in the dog house, she's still talking to me but only just which IMO is worse than the silent treatment. The silent treatment I don't mind at all!!

Find what ever music you want on Youtube copy and paste the link into Freemake..Thai music, Full concerts ETC
Then use Freemake | Best Freeware Alternatives To Paid Video Software . it will then convert it to MP3 for you

Freemake sounds great. There is an abundance of Thai luk thung and morlam from the last 3 decades on YouTube. My wife occasionally spends an hour or two with the kid's iPad pumping up the Pumpuang; you probably have to do the search in Thai.

I have about 850Mb/240 tracks of thai music, different styles, pm an address where you want them emailed to and i will try to send them to you. If you can suggest a more efficient way let me know.

Some may be duplicates as the titles are in Thai.

Give them some good old Scouse queer music.

    You know they'll love it.
Get the incense burning in front of one of them wet water spray blowing fans and Somchai will be yours forever.

Another option is to sit at the computer with the Mrs get her to do a google search in Thai ( if you have a Thai keyboard ).
If I'm looking for something Thai I'm often surprised at the different results you get between using English verses Thai.

Cheers, yeah got a Thai keyboard. I'll give it a go, but, I can't be held responsible for my actions if my Mrs. drives me to murder by asking questions I can't answer about the inner workings of t'internet.

I have found a lot of Thai music for my wife on :
    http://www.4shared.com/

You do get a lot more results searching for songs typed in Thai script.
