where's a good place in Bangkok to see a decent live band (ie: not the punk pop Thai faggot shit? )

Never seen any BR cd's for sale here - or Iron Maiden come to think of it - any ideas .

Yep this bit of java script will find open directories so you can nick their mp3s

just copy and paste it into internet explorer browser, click enter and a new search window will open, type the band or singer you are looking for,
it will find quite a few so you may have to check thru some of them to find the best bitrate etc

The punk storehouse for Bangkok is Brick Bar, which is under Buddy Lodge near the Burger King end of Khao San Road -- but shows there are sporadic. To find it, just walk up the steps toward the little inset McDonalds and keep going back into the bowels of the building. Atrocious service, though, but what do you expect for KSR and punk? The punk that's played there is fun-loving Thai style stuff -- so don't go expecting to kick people in the head and spray shit on someone in order to prove how cool you are, and like, society, dude.
