Norwegian meatballs are served up every Thursday on every Norwegian vessel that I've ever worked on. I prefer Norwegian meatballs 'Kjøttkaker', to Swedish meatballs. The Norwegian meatballs are bigger, come in darker gravy and are served up with mushy peas and boiled potatoes instead of mashed potatoes.

They come with 'Tyttebær' which is the Norwegian version of Lingonberries.

I prefer west country meatballs, they are bigger and come in a darker gravy
