^^ You need a few slices of buttered raw toast with that Armstong

Perfectly aligned sausage dam, keeping the chips crispy.
    Good work!

^ I would have had a third sausage in the middle to create an overlap. Then the pressure of the bean flow would have sealed the gap nicely.

These English chavs should have a separate dinner thread and it should be in the doghouse so more intellectually sophisticated people like myself do not have to witness this horror.

Chief Chef is getting a bit bored with this “sheltering in place” – spent most of the day chitchatting with friends barking about how bad it all is. Can’t blame her, but, it is her country. Similar restrictions exist in just about every afflicted country but that’s of little or no consequence. The here and now is all that matters. So Be It.

Brief time cooking this evening – tilapia fillet, plus leftover spiced pork from yesterday along with the soup. A quite pleasant meal that I give high marks.

Dessert of papaya, apple and the last of our longan. Did pickup a bit of ice cream though to fill in the corners.

Steamed mutton dumplings, fermented cabbage and a few beers at a place I have been meaning to try in the Shangri-La mall. Fans of muttton would enjoy!

If my memory serves me right, Mongolian 'boiyd' (sp???) is horrible. In fact, although there are many excellent restaurants in UB, Mongolian cuisine isn't generally very good.

This may not be exactly the place to post, but you fellas like cheese so...

I was chatting to the parents in the UK, and they mentioned that got some cheese, so I said "give's a look..." & here they are:

Damn fine set of cheese that... The UK is excellent for cheeses...

^^ I hope you are taking a poop scoop to that.

That duck looks alright, did you have to grill it for longer than chicken due to the fat content?
Any pics of a piece cut open?

Double check the bag, as I would be very surprised if it really was cod. My guess would be Pangasius, or possibly Pacific Dory.

I double checked the bag and it's cod... from China.

The freezers were mainly full of pangasius, but I was sure I'd got cod. It had cod flavour, but just seemed so full of water.

    And another...

Mango upside down cake, all ready for dinner tonight with a scoop of ice cream.

This baking lark is getting easy... just remember the baking soda and a pinch of salt!

^ Ok, thanks. I looked in macro a while ago, but they did not have cod. Perhaps luck for me!
