I hope your wife survived her Dutch ovening last night... but I'm interested in your Scotch egg recipe. The lockdown chickens I bought a couple of weeks ago are starting to lay and we're getting around 15 eggs a day now, and I need to use them up. Did you mix the sausage meat with with the beef mince? And in what proportions? I can no longer get slabs of sausage meat in Korat and I don't really want to just use sausages. Would pork mince be a better mix do you think? That's maybe not so easy to get in Malaysia for you.
Last night for us was my standard baked chicken breast... Dan pushed open the back door and popped in as well, she loves a bit of chicken...
... but she forgot to shut the door after herself and there was some fly hatch last night with all this rain. This took some explaining to the Commandant in the morning.
Followed by the last of the mango and blueberry crumble with ice cream.
I'm considering a mango upside-down cake today. Eggs and mangoes, we're over run by 'em.
