Cannot green the Lasagna but it deserves one. Have also made it from scratch a couple of times but never will again, way too much time/work so to me it's a dish that best eaten at a place where someone who churns them out for a living using a method and recipe perfected over the years is in the kitchen.

Is it fuck, you Brummy cnut. Nothing pre-cooked out of a tin in this house...well, maybe in a few weeks time when we're all wearing hazmat suits.

Fresh tomatoes as Panama spotted straightaway.

Bizarrely, I always think of you when I'm doing a lasagne 'cos I know your views on doing it from scratch. I was actually wondering what Headworx would think when I was 3 hours in stirring the meat sauce with another 3 to go!

I agree with you, it is hard work, but my missus helps with some of the cutting and I crack open a few cans and actually enjoy it; as you've seen from my earlier versions I use the same recipe and, once the celery and carrots are chopped, it's really only the bechamel that takes a bit of elbow grease.

It tastes good and will last us most of the week so it's worth it, I reckon. We don't do it too often though and I'd say a roast dinner is even more fucking about.

Agree with HW, making Lasagna is a nightmare.

That does look pretty darn good considering you used a cup-a-soup and dairylea triangles as your substitutes.

Nothing subliminal Hal, although I had an inkling you'd use Dills comments to chicken out.

Luigi chickened out in the great bake off challenge, are you gonna do a Lulu?

    C'mon it's just a bit off fun...

You are gonna need 20 of these on your side in that poll Chittty...

Just reading about these guinea pigs, more nutritious than beef, pork and chicken and there are 20 varietes bred in Peru, 17 varieties are pets, only 3 used for meat and those are twice as big as the pets.

    A family meal...

No huge piles of shit, methane and greenhouse gasses as with cattle.

Now if we could just get Ameristan eating them.

If we could get Snubby to change from wild salmon and Jeff to swap his capn crunch, we could have a good GP challenge here...and haven't you got the school chinchilla over the break, Chitty?
