Saturday's dinner at the Robin Hood, Chicken Royale, chicken breast on a potato cake with bacon bits,peas and a cheese sauce

marrowfat peas at a restaurant?

Round a mate's for din-dins every Sunday. It's an eat-on-your-lap arrangement, usually while watching Family Fortunes re-runs on Challenge TV. I always win.

With some fried bread on the side. And a cup of coffee.

Metabolism, always been skinny. Eat and drink like a pig. No excersise, couch potato, live five minutes from the lake - never had a walk there. Smoke 20 a day.

Special fried bread - butter both sides with real butter (non of that namby pamby marg), add a bit of garlic salt and paprica. Fry and voila.

Sorry, tell a lie did walk by the lake one day - to take my empty bottles to the bottle bank and also some stale bread for the ducks. Unfortunately there was a swans nest just nearby, cute wee things until poppa arrived... The wingspan on those buggers is quite impressive. Luckily he wasn't going for me.

The guy who got the swan was a bit shaken, and i just giggled.

Thrown together chicken breast, crispy chips and pepper sauce.

Sirloin, half price too

Far tastier than the tenderloin I had last week




The burnt bits are the best
