    Thanks snub...here's those chops.

Have some more pics about those and the rest of last night's dinner, but was thinking of starting my own BBQ Follies thread with them.

Oh fuck ya! BBQ chops and cast iron cornbread. I am on my way over.

BTW you either are a night owl like me or you get up really fooking early.

Getting ready to post last nights dinner.

Got up really early. Been sleeping a lot better lately since new pain medication...just not tonight.

The wife did that. I did the chops, sweet heat smoky beans and salad.

Green owed for that as it looks fantastic. So here goes Saturday nights dinner. Not trying to outdo anyone as that plate of food is to me supper yummy and is a perfect summer dinner.

That said I hit the local place that does prime rib on Friday and Saturday nights. 12oz with Yukon gold potatoes, asparagus and carrots. Served up medium rare of course.

I hate this thread at times.

Dinner coming up and after seeing this sort of thing there's just no way it matches up.

This page of the thread off to a roaring start! I really have to say though that piece of SKkin's wife's cornbread would be nice right now with some of this pure local honey I have.

    Teriyaki salmon and salsa...

Not bad (pretty good actually) but it's quite fucking disappointing right now

Not bad at all really. Just keep in mind you can stay on that weightlifters diet with a nice fat prime rib. Just skip the Yukon gold taters.

    Edit...

Is that farm raised salmon? If so I can not give it my stamp of approval.

^^ Cheer up, should try cooking cup cakes...

Yes, this thread sets the bar high. I'm happier looking rather than contributing.

^^Pretty sure I saw that advertised somewhere online, looked better in the pic . Something else I saw from the Darkside that looks nice is the Fishermans pie at The Loft.

Wasn't the biggest, which was good because it made me eat the saladWas nice though, loads of chicken inside and a nice kick.
Seafood pies don't appeal to me for some reason, unlike cottage and shepherds pie.
