Busy with me water Pik after eating a chinky takeaway
Decided to do a lasagna tonight. I will also do a cos and rocket salad, and garlic bread.
The first few shots of assembling the dish.
Sauce, noodles, more sauce, and cheese, layer one
3 layers high now. I will put it in about 6:30 for half an hour at 175.
Looking forward to pics of the finished product.
I like making my cheese filling for the lasagna with a mix of ricotta/cottage cheese and include some mozzarella.... on top of the top layer I like a mix of mozzarella/Parmesan to make a slight crusty top.... I'm sure you have done this before though AO and are using a tried and proven recipe.

Finished but I forgot to take photos of the best salad I have made in a while.
Just out of the oven. Let it sit for a bit
Tuna pasta salad with a bit of coronation chicken. Had some nice bread too but no pic.

I wondered who would be the first to point that out! No it's a cashew nut.Originally Posted by Bogon
No, I made the pasta salad and bought the coronation chicken from Tops. You find it in the fresh cabinet (usually by the door) with all the sandwiches. 45bt.Originally Posted by Bogon

if something works, we have a tendency to stick with it. I had just made some "Eggplant Parmesan with Spicy Italian Sausage" when a friend called. He loves' his Belgian mother's home cooking and has been up country here in Thailand for about 6 months with out any of his mama's home cooked meals so I invited him over for lunch. "Eggplant Parmesan with Spicy Italian Sausage", Bruchetta and Italian bread, and a garden salad with Avocado's in it and a seasoned oil/balsamic vinegar dressing. The "Eggplant Parmesan with Spicy Italian Sausage"is always a big hit with the eaters so it was once again appreciated by my guest. Here is a snap shot. I apologize for not posting up some photos of some of the new food dishes I'm preparing but hey, "if it isn't broke, why try and fix it"?
and the lunch setting in full.
Looks delicious ST ,, never had it myself though
Still stuck in Northern Borneo waiting for a chopper out to a job. Quite suprised how reasonable the pizza was that I ordered on room service.
Not the best ever, a little too much topping for my taste, but certainly not the worst I have had.
Ive never got adding your own ketchup to pizzas.
Ive just had the championship bbq chicken from fridays. Still hungry though
Same same. They just left it there for me.Originally Posted by Dillinger
Me too! Tomato ketchup on pizza just turns me off and when the adult Thai nephew does this I read him the riot act about spoiling what otherwise is a perfectly good pizza...
My kids will do it here, but never and I mean ever in the USA. So little decent sauce. But I think the whole concept of adding ketchup for lack of sauce is revolting. Just realize you live in the LOS. Or make your own.
I've just bought all the ingredients to make a pizza.
Wife, daughter and I will give it a go this weekend.
Pics to follow!
