Salad cream and cheese or apple sauce, hmm!

It's a tough call but i'd opt for the "apple sauce"

    Steak Looks yummy!

Here is our dinner being slow cooked - spaghetti...

caramelized onions, garlic, oregano, salt, pepper...
lightly brown the mince - then add ripe tomatoes and 1/4 cup red wine
some chili to give it some kick... brown sugar to reduce acidity
then slow cook/simmer on 62c all day...
consume rest of wine, while awaiting t-rak to come home lol
    smells sooo good... comfort food.

P.S. That finely chopped garlic is to chug down separately (to kill my flu)... already added to the spaghetti... 90% back to full-health now (thanks to garlic!!)...

That looks good Dick ,, its good to see some of us on here not rocking up as the stereotypical male who has to wait for his other half to cook his food for him .

I would say in our household we share the catering about 50/50

    Cheers Nigel, mate :-)

I love cooking, it's not a chore for me... a pleasure to cook for the one I love.
Her favorite is lamb, Kiwi style..

Yup, certainly not 'al dente'/bit of a Kiwi-twist on a great classic..

pics with the pasta (of course) to follow..

    Not proud Nige, no

Disappointed yes, no one pays for all inclusive and doesn't drink Amstel for breakfast.

    ^^Nearly...We call it, Quiche!

    That was the 'blind bake.'

That's wee bits of ground black pepper.

    Now, the finished article.

I knew it, with all the iFacetime going on it was only a matter of time before Charlie's English Pies turned into Charles' Metrosexual Quiches...
