    Steak looks good.

    I'm a relative purist nowadays.

Charred over coals with salt, cracked pepper, melted butter, and nothing more.

It is not raw, it is perfect but otherwise you are right.

This escalated quickly. It was only a steak dinner with chimichurri sauce

Baked salmon and shrimps with accompaniments.

No peas last night and everything seemed to go OK.

And in case you were wondering... that's a Qatar spoon with a handle long enough to reach the bottom of the Helmann's jar. Quality cutlery from a Middle Eastern carrier.

I went with the shorter handled KLM for dessert.

It's very good to see that you are learning the "no peas" approach.

I agree, that's actually a nice looking meal. Broccoli and cauliflower actually have flavor.

Just not ones you go for, huh.

Peas have plenty of flavour if from UK, NZ etc.

Did up some pork tenderloins, along with some skewers of red bell, onions, and mushrooms, served with rice pilaf. Make sure you rest your roasted meat before slicing.

Nice job AO. Pork Tenderloins here are really good. Very lean, tender. I grill one a week.

Amazingly not always. You would think being a Tenderloin and all. I have had some awful tenderloins in the states. Pork that is. Beef is always excellent.

Here I have found the pork is far better in taste and quality.

Last night we had my big pla nin, oven baked with lemon.

Everything on that plate apart from the potato, peas and courgette came from the garden.
