Good guess!
It actually looks more like Masaya than Teidi

Pork Tenderloin with a mushroom gravy sauce and Italian spiced Zucchini and a nice Leffe to wash it down.
That looks tasty. I would want to wet the sprocket with a few of those leffes first, though.
I’d imagine that he enjoyed a few will BBQing. Outstanding looking meal Stumpy
2 adults, 2 kids, dinner for 20.
Lang may yer lum reek...
^ yeah the animal product isn't that widely available over there
Very nice Dirk.
Nice to JP embracing gravy.
I've bought a Haggis tonight, fvck knows what I'm supposed to do with it.
Smells like black pudding ,might have it with a full.monty tomorrow unless anyone has any better suggestions
^ I love Haggis.
Always with mashed potato, mashed swede (neeps?) and peas. With a big dollop of Heinz Tomato Ketchup.
When I moved to Thailand all those years ago it was supposed be the start of some kind of semi-retirement, yet I now find myself busier than ever before. I'm so busy that I don't even have time to post up pics of my dinners any more, but have made some time today... for yesterday's dinner.
Last night I realised that I hadn't had peas or sprouts for well over a day, so I decided to remedy this and make up an easy meal where both would be great.
Roast pork in the convection oven.
There's been some talk about gravy lately but I can't find the thread. I swear by the Bisto Gravy powder, never the granules which are for amateurs. I mix up a teaspoon of Bisto powder with a teaspoon of flour (or cornflour if you're a gravy purist). Incidentally, only 49 Baht for the Apple Sauce and it was only 5 months out of date! That's only just over a quid.
Make up a paste with the gravy powder and flour and slowly stir it into the veg water, and then drain in the fat and bits from the roast. You can't go wrong.
Crack open a bag of wine and the job's a good 'un.
Nothing wrong with that!
^ Reasonable effort, Mendy.
Passable.
Maybe.
So... which is better?
'Passable. Maybe.'
Or
'Nice'
Or are they even compliments?
Many many years ago, back when I was still alive I had this Norwegian girlfriend, and one evening she turned up at the bar with a new hair do. I said that her hair 'looked nice', and she went into one. Enough of one that I still remember it 30 years later. I', not sure that 'nice' is necessarily a good thing.
^^^^Roast pork is right up there as one of my favourites, lovely looking crackling too - great effort.
^ I think I prefer that.
Nice one, Stumpy!
I'm on fire...
Tonight, peas with honey roast ham, mash and cheese sauce. There was some Stilton left over from Christmas and I added a bit to the Cheddar cheese sauce. Absolutely delicious.
^ I like a bit of slop... don't like a dry meal.
Wow. You are on fire Mendy. So do you start your meals with a big bowl of sauce then add various food?
Is there any other way?
Less peas, more gravy Mendy!
Mash, peas and gravy shall be going with my Haggis
