^Drunken chicken and chips...Has a nice ring to it!
Those chips were lashed with salt and vinegar and my shit hot tabasco gravy

Reckon you missed your vocation in Thailand there Pat.
With the silly season done and dusted, visiting family having flown home, and having packed some pork on, it's time to come back to planet Earth when it comes to eating . So it's 1 full plate a day again and that was tonight's breaded pork chop with mixed veg. Inspiration for healthy tasty meals that're easy to prepare is needed!.
^Looks very nice. Did you put cheese and ham under the breadcrumbs?
I had this the other day.
It was like a Bolognaise. Should really have added chillies and a few beans.
No cheese or ham under the breadcrumbs, both are no-no's for the diet I'm sticking with. So are the breadcrumbs though .
Your dish looks delicious and gives me the idea of doing some sort of savory mince dish. Some lean mince with chopped veg and chillies sort of thing couldn't be too hard to put together so thanks for the pic!.
Knocking up a simple spaghetti sauce or chilli con carne with your own choices of ingredients is fun, a secret to good mince is to use 50-50 ground beef & pork. Before you say ''ugh'' you should try it.
Two slices of haggis and mash.
Late night snack. Sardines, mama, and rice laced with prik na pla & lemon juice...extra chilli flakes.
Sorry but that looks like my worst nightmare.
^^ The plate on the right looks OK...Yes, the plate!
DJ. You need to get yourself a wife.
Can we get a takeaway ?
Don't come over, I may cook you
Tomorrow I got a real dinner planned, you'll see.
Do you never sleep? You seem to be up at all hours eating funny food.

Went to the seafood markets yesterday and got 2 KG's of Tiger prawns, which was only about 13 of them. Big bastards they were. Boiled some up and had them with salad yesterday but took no pics, it was pretty boring to look at anyway. But I kept 3 of them raw and thought some pics of tonight's reef'n'beef (or hook'n'hoof or surf'n'turf, whichever you prefer) might look ok.
Yesterdays boiled prawns in rapid chill mode after coming out of the pot.
Tonight's ingredients, Aussie rib-eyes and Tigers prawns.
I pan fried the steaks, then the peeled and halved prawns had their turn. I halved them so they'd cook faster.
Took a slice off the end of the steak to check it was cooked medium, then put a few prawn halves on top.
And made a white sauce which was heavily seasoned with ground salt/pepper to go over the lot. Thought about what to have with it but I had a plate of vegetables for lunch and didn't feel like salad again, chips wold have been perfect but there's enough calories here for one plate. Tasted good on its own anyway
