Pretty sure death-row inmates get that option, so we should too.

Oh man. For me, it would be a huge fat 350 day dry aged Ribeye with a big Idaho russet potato loaded with butter, Chives, bacon sprinkle and a nice Cesar Salad.

    ^^ You're mad.

I'd go for a huge, thick local steak cooked well done. I'd still be chewing it and looking forward to me pudding long after you'd been carted off to have your neck stretched!

Texas no longer allows special last meals. On condemned man ordered a huge meal (two chicken fried steaks with gravy and sliced onions; a triple-patty bacon cheeseburger; a cheese omelet with ground beef, tomatoes, onions, bell peppers and jalapeņos; a bowl of fried okra with ketchup; one pound of barbecued meat with half a loaf of white bread; three fully loaded fajitas; a meat-lover's pizza; one pint of Blue Bell vanilla ice cream; a slab of peanut-butter fudge with crushed peanuts on top; and three root beers), and when it was delivered, said he was not hungry., and did not eat anything. The practice was stopped immediately.

There is always that one person that f*cks it up for everyone....

I imagine it was the bowl of fried okra with ketchup that put him off his meal.

Why is that even a question?

    Choose a curry instead?

    Full Monty breakfast.

    Fish,chips and peas for lunch.

    Full lamb roast for dinner

    Cheese on toast for supper.

A perfect last day of eating and it probably would be my last if I polished that lot off

I can think of few more overrated foods in the world than a steak. Ok every once in a while, but the way some on here go on about it?

It's a piece of meat served with some chips or a potato. A bit boring, really.

Obviously never been to birmongham's balti tringle
    or with the rusholme ruffians.

Agree on the steaks, though the fam dont eat much beef so i may be out of practice

id reach for a dopiaza, rendang, massaman or some such before a slab of cow to be honest

also all parts of the anglo world's cusisines are essentailly immigrant heavy in terms of favorites

except for those bloody racist bogon's
    we won it at wemberlee
we on it in gay paree...

Indeed. And the classic British curry is usually accompanied by about 8 pints; I think people forget just what a culinary experience the Great British curry is.

I had a ruby in the Balti Triangle last year with my Brum mate, but I haven't been down Rusholme for years. We used to make a night of it every few months and they were great nights with the buzz, the beers and the different dishes arriving at the table left, right and centre.

Any last meal would probably involve seekh kebabs, samosas, bhajis, daal, aloo gobi, tandoori, chicken tikka, prawn puri, karahi, jhalfrezi, saag, countless (keema) naans etc

Steak and chips? Meh. You need traditional British ingredients such as cumin, coriander and chili to get your tastebuds rocking!
