Some great meals being served up of late. Bsnubby's and PH's meals look superb!
Even Armstrong's fair is acceptable at the right time and place.

Mummified Flounder.
Have you all noticed that Thais tend to mummify everything when they grill. My wife does.
So the other day we were at Macro and I saw what looked like flounder. Not exactly like the founder I am familiar with from back in the states , but close enough.
Usually when I grill fish , I marinade it in a garlic , oil, lemon and oregano marinade, Salt and Paper. I wrap in tinfoil with a few onions and place on the grill .
Unfortunately , this time I was busy with a project and trusted the wife to do it.

It was OK, but kind of dry. The taste was a bit off , but that could be a function of the mummification. Are any of you familiar with the flounder available for sale at Macro? Is it different than the flounder in the US?
Get Mrs BB do a salt crust bake on the BBQ, Thais do that well, keeps the fish moist and no burning.
BTW they look OK to me

I did not know that.
British food is the best in the world, like cricket is a real sport.
:smileylaughing:
While all good, not sure about buttered bread accompanying a naan. :)
The cold butter soothes the burning.
Plus I'd put the naan in too long and it was like cardboard.
Michelin may be round, and not to change the tyres.
Good tip.
Not all heroes wear capes. :)
^ I would guess tilapia....
Our local Mexican place was offering ribs as a "special event" sort of thing, they normally don't sell them. The wife saw their ad on facebook and went ahead. My immediate thought was they'd be expensive...
