I always went for a pepperami. Fuck having cockles with me pint.

Yeah, I dont remember peperamis though. Someone in the pub would always shout out, "you got any muscles on you cock?"

They probably didn't deem you southerners worthy of a pepperami.

I wonder if they're still about in the pubs (well, not at the moment, obviously).

Steak came out well done, which is fairly standard here. It was surprisingly tender and well seasoned. It "Thai" style, it could have been a shade spicer for my tastes

What? Nobody in this thread likes Dickens Cider. Well I am not surprised with the bunch of wankers that participate in this forum..
Personally I like it in the morning 'cause by evening I am too tired for Dickens Cider.
Instead I made a nice Pepperoni Calzone, filled with tomato sauce, Ricotta cheese, Peperoni , and Mozzarella.
I made the pizza dough last night and l Tomato sauce, 'cause I have nothing better to do LOL, and I let the dough stand in the refrigerator overnight to develop flavor. (recipe for pizza dough at YouTube)
I would post pictured but TD has its period today and would not allow me pictures, perhaps later when it feels better

Probably wise if you'd seen some of the old cider heads from the past. One local of mine from years ago has a snug bar on the side full of them and a bar billiards table - named the Muppet bar and for good reason. You'd think they were talking a foreign language.

Somewhere in the West Country, England (it may just be an old bridge with a train line). I just Googled it, but Mendip might be able to help because that's his manor.

Cider and Cornish pasties are ten a penny in that area. I suspect you'd like it.

Looks like the River Mersey and Stockport Viaduct

    Can't beat a Cornish pasty!

I'll swerve the hang glider though.
