soft skinned fruit is full of water that once frozen turns into sharp crystals. When they are frozen slowly, those shards develop and lecerate the internal tissue and the skin. As the fruit thaws it falls apart into a gloop. they freeze rapidly not giving the chance for these shards to form and thus when they defrost are nearly complete. Not 100%, but most of the major damage is avoided.

I don't remember ours doing that...but it's been a long time. I know it was nice having blueberries in the winter that we had picked ourselves.

£10.50 Curry Buffet! Only remembered having taken this picture yesterday because I just had to call the coastguard to warn them about the shit I just did.

Hit a curry buffet like a street fight - get in first, hard and dirty. Didn't bother will all that bread and rice crap. Plates of meat, veges with scoops of lime chutney.

Even the missus managed 3 small plate full.
