An American fried breakfast. Fried bread, fried bacon, fried omelette, and fried potatoes, with a bit of coloured stuff added to make it look healthy.

Although the fried bread could actually be burnt, I mean char grilled, toast.

Find bread in the US of A ! Surely not, I thought that was a northern English trait although it appears to be outlawed in recent years.

    Snubbles you fat bastard!!!

^ It looks good, but I really can't decide if I like avocados or not. They seem to be a bit of a nothing food to me. I made up some guacamole today to go with our chicken fajitas later, and ate a few of the avocado lumps from an under-ripe one that wouldn't mash, and I just don't know...

But I know that I like bacon.

It was bacon and egg sandwiches for breakfast today. I mixed some nice back bacon from Peterhead with some Makro TGM bacon to make it go further. This was a mistake because it just meant that we couldn't enjoy the quality, lean, UK bacon.

The daughter artfully arranged her sandwich for TeakDoor. Th daughter's was better than mine because I gave her the egg without a broken yolk... good father that I am.

And mine... overcooked yolk but with a smidgen of Daddies Sauce.

Three egg omelette with bacon bits, spring onion and mushrooms, not a bad start to the day.

And when we ordered, my wife ordered the three egg omelette AND a stack of pancakes. I asked her why and she said she was hungry. She managed two small bites of the pancakes. As not to start off the day with an argument, I just did my "whatever you want" thing to maintain the peace.

No, I was thinking the same
.The toast to butter ratio wasn't looking correct. Nothing worse than having 7 slices of toast and only enough butter to butter up 1 or 2 slices. I think we need more info about the bread to helge. Was it the sweet flavoured variety in favor with a lot of Filipinos? Or was it good ole Western 🍞.

Enlarging the photo I count 4 pats of butter and only 1 dob of jam. That would be also disappointing if you were in the mood for jam on toast.
