The black gold bangers were pork sausages studded with black pudding and have just been air-fried (criminal really, but it's the need for speed and convenience on a weekday) and eaten in a sausage, bacon and egg butty.

Get myself a coffee now and I'll be set up nicely for the day before today's late lunch: curry Thursday!

Air Fryers are the shizz for snags.

Snags studded with bury gems, ya say.

Like the thinking, but surely they work better on the plate separately.

Our time in the UK is drawing to a close and I still have a few things to cross off the bucket list before we leave.

Today it was Shreddies AND Rice Krispies for breakfast. Two more crossed off the list.

^ I just came up with it... today was my first time!

It saved the hassle of having a separate bowl of each.

If I've got any space I'll be taking the Shreddies with me because I love the things. I'm not so fussed about the Rice Krispies and will probably leave them for my mum.

In my mid teens I got hooked on a strange combo of crunchy nut corn flakes and all bran. I would eat it for breakfast every day and sometimes dinner as well for about a year.

It was lovely, but I couldn't even look at the stuff now.

Try it's larger cousin Shreaded wheat, like eating the floor of a hamster cage.

The great TD cereal debate beckons...

Weetabix or Crunchy nut cornflakes for me!

As for Sugar Puffs the Honey monster, WTF. Sounds like a serial killer

All bran is just wrong, but hey if it keeps you regular Hal

As for Snubbles n Stumps Fruit Loops, the name says it all!

The original Sugar Puffs were loved by families for almost 60 years, but in 2014, they vanished from stores. The cereal was replaced by Honey Monster Wheat Puffs featuring a more modern-looking Honey Monster character. The recipe also changed, with the new cereal having around 20% less sugar than the original.

I'd rather mix up some Aldi Chrunchy Boulders and half a can of Stella Artois in the blender than eat that concoction for breakfast.

Mmmm, orange one is Sparkenhoe Blue, the other blue is Perl Las - both excellent. The small cheese is Bix, first try and its a really creamy triple cream cheese a bit like Brilat Savarin but its British and better. Then Tanworth a brie type cheese. Paired up with Kent black cherries, queen olives and a tangy caramelised Onion Chutney and of course ginger cake with butter. Washed down with a Pinot Noir.
