As I age I'm becoming increasingly more circumspect about what I stick in my gob and despite being home now for over three months, I think I've only had SPAM sandwiches (with Branstone Pickle and dunked in Heinz Tomato Soup) on one occasion.
I think that SPAM is a real comfort food to Brits of a certain age (and possibly income group) but also anyone of that age are now trying to stay alive longer and decrease their vices. Of my many vices, SPAM ain't top of the list so has to go.

Dressing up the dogs in the wife's lingerie ain't bad for my health and the jolity it brings me probably prolongs my existence to some extent.
