    Not sure if there are yuppies anymore, but when there were, I never counted myself among them. Ghastly loud-mouthed yobbos, mostly. But I do like cooking, and I do like using good quality utensils, so I'll hold my hand up to being a bit of a perfectionist around the stove.

    And you're quite right - I must've decided that 10kg of cast iron was a no-no in my suitcase.

    Looks good mate. But it looks like you boil your garlic with the spuds ? I prefer to roast them, or mash them raw into the potato mash.

    They boil for 5 minutes like the spuds. Then they just turn to cream as you mash them. Really infuses the flavor.
