    Italian Food in Thailand

Ok I admit I cheated but I was hungry at the time, and hell it was quite nice.

First up get the water boiling, chuck some salt in there and the Pasta, next plug in the old deep fat fryer to chuck your chicken nuggets in, get the old Prego sauce out and stick half a can of that into a saucepan, bit of butter in the wok for frying up the peas, onions and garlic, this is where things went a bit wrong and I run out of space on the cooker, so dump the sauce into the wok with the onions and that, hey presto, 10 minutes later you got a meal and a snack, it really wasn't that bad actually, plus I still got half a can of prego left so that will probably be involved in tomorrows meal in some way

Since when are chicken nuggets and gray English peas ingredients in "Italian" food?

OK I admit it was a more of a "whats left in the freezer to eat meal", I did slice up my chicken nuggets so they just looked like pieces of chicken, and I admit it would have been better to warm up the prego sauce to pour it over the Pasta, but I was hungry, it was actually quite nice and I shall probably have it again this evening

In England that would be a gourmet meal fit for a King.

Why do you think we all moved over here

That's a strange meal.... unfortunately it looks a lot like the results of my cooking, but maybe that's why my wife do most of the kitchen work...

"The English dont eat, they just take nourishment" I always liked that line, but then again, DD had turned me on the giant burger barbecue place and the Lek buffet. So one bad meal does not ruin a goumet.

Next time cook the peas and sauce separate for presentation purposes. Otherwise, like most of the gals you've been good enough to provide piccys of... I'd do it. And I'd have seconds if there was anything left in the pan from my first sampling.

This is truly worthy of a quote. For the life of me, I can't come up with a single thing to say... Says it all really.
Can we chage the name of this thread to "Is there anything an Englishman Won't Eat?" or, "What to do When You've just had twelve Bong Hits and Can't be Botherd to go to the 7-11?"

    It's the new fashion, Frankie
    It's called fusion food.

Pasta from Italy, nuggets from USA, peas from England

There's nothing wrong with curry and chips, get with the beat man, you can mix it all up nowadays
