    A good silver cleaner

    Hi all,
I have some spoons and things made of silver, but they dont look shiny anymore. In fact they are quite dark.
Does anybody know where in BKK i can find a good cleaning liquid? Does Villa Market have anything?
A long time ago i was using something back home called Silver Quick, took just 5-10 secs of soaking and the stuff got really shiny.

    Any advice is greatly appreciated,
    Tom

Put foil in the bottom of a bowl or dish. Add 2 Tbs baking soda and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Put your silver on top of the mixture. Add boiling water to cover, wait about 2 minutes.

Fek, DD is full of useful trivia stuff.
I always used toothpaste meself. Good for cleaning gold jewellry, too. (apply with an old soft toothbrush, rinse well and polish with a soft cloth), but I have some old silver dishes and curios so will try DD's method.
