If I wanted a steak, I would most assuredly not buy "rump" in the first place. A cut like that needs to be stewed imho, cut it up and make a stew or chili with it.

Aldi have brought out the £3 value beef steak.
230grams and half an inch thick.
I took the precaution of battering it with a rolling pin for 5 minutes then seasoning.
Took about 15 minutes in the frying pan to get it well done all the way through.
My review would be get yourself a sharp steak knife and some Turkey teeth if you wanna knaw through it..
