    The Transylvanian Temptress decided to play Wilma to my Barney Rubble caveman by bringing over some well posh tenderloin steak and a deli shop salad box so I whipped up a soy/honey/pepper marinade in the twinkling of an eye

    Once the charcoal was glowing the bloody dripping meat was put on the grill

    It is hard to gauge cooking times with an open charcoal pit but 5 minutes each side was enough for the thinner piece which was still dripping blood when we sliced and shared it while the thicker piece stayed on

    The thicker piece got an extra 2 minutes each side before I pulled it and sliced it for a taste test

    She declared it was still too raw in the middle, although I thought it was fine, so it got another 2 minutes before being sliced and devoured between us.

    Still tasted the same to me after 2 more minutes and was the tastiest steak that has yet graced this humble and now falling to bits BBQ pit.

    I thought a true vampire would have been up for sinking her fangs into it raw.

    Well, you could, but they're charging you 8 fucking quid for a burger with a slice of bacon on it, so I don't thonk there's much of a rush to change.

    West Brom have got the best pork sandwich I've ever had in my life. Sheffield United had amazing burgers.
