I don't eat at McDonald's it is shit possibly once in the last ten years. There are better local places here to get a nice burger.

Having seen pics of your cooking before I suppose we should all be grateful that you are unable to process the seemingly simple task of double clicking a picture and selecting large or full size prior to posting said pictures.

Well, in his defense it is pretty late over in blighty, and he has been into the rotgut brandy as usual.

Burger looks good though.

My culinary tastes are normally too high brow for burgers but today the daughter finished school at lunchtime (yet another 'teachers' training day') so we popped into The Mall on the way home to do some business, and of course she wanted MacDonalds.

I have no idea why the kids always want MacDonalds... they must be doing some serious advertising.

The daughter had a double cheeseburger. I had the signature deluxe Angus burger.



Why is this place so popular? The kids love it but it's shite.



I made these a week or so ago and didn't bother posting them as I thought they were nothing special. Burgers aren't my thing.



They were better than what we got at MacDonalds, though.

I was not complimenting McDonald's which is almost total shit aside from a couple of things. Furthermore, I can only comment on what is here in the US. The cheeseburgers are cooked with fresh, never frozen beef holding true to the original recipe dating back to the fifties and the fries are still very good as well. Still not my first choice for a burger, as we have better locally owned places here where I live.

^ The best bit about the MacDonalds trip for me was these ice cream cones. They dip them in this chocolate sauce that goes hard around the ice cream, like a crispy crust.

I wish I'd got a photo now.

Good fellows - let's not detract this fine thread and it's initial intentions with references to McD's and other sorted excrement.
