^^ You 2 never tried sausages and baked beans on
a burger bun?
It's Amazing
Although I doubt it'd work with your watery German hot dog sausages.
Not anymore. MRE's do not have baked beans. They stopped that in the eighties.
Nope. Because they are shit.
I almost never eat fast food, and I have a hunch that ole stumpster didn't eat much of it when he was back in the states. So that is a big swing and miss.
It's not about fast foods. We just have a HUGE selection of quality foods available. I haven't bought a can of baked beans in 25 years or more. The last time I did it was for a camping trip with my daughters and friends. They are easy, cheap and you toss then out when done. For some reason you UK folks LIVE for them. Don't you have other options? Just asking....
^ whats that stuff you fukkers spill all over your pancakes every morning then?
We have Shrove Tuesday here, a once a year fukkin treat
I haven't had pancakes in at least ten years. If I want something sweet for breakfast, I would eat a donut or a crêpe. America is a big place, and breakfast is completely different by region.

Actually, the name given to the article is quite misleading.
It's NOT the most popular breakfast food in each state, it is a list of the " See, a little research was done to take a closer look at what people's Googling habits are all about, from each of the 50 states. Specifically, which breakfast foods are being searched the most."
If they were the most popular breakfast food in each state ... you wouldn't need to Google it

Maybe a read of ... How Cereal Became the Quintessential American Breakfast might reveal the facts.
Amen AO. Years back talking with my GMa, she told me about the great depression and all they ate was rationed foods of bread and baked beans. She told me that after the depression was over eating baked beans was for poor people because there was no need to eat them anymore.
Fuck me, it is laughable to look at those of you who have never even been to the US before tell us what we eat. Give it a fucking rest. BTW, just because you found some hideous obscure recipe about a baked bean burger on Google does not mean that anyone would eat that shit.
I have tried over and over again to explain to these numptys that it is poverty food that no one eats in America. They just can not seem to grasp it.
All of this crap is defiling the Burger thread and should be moved over to the breakfast thread.
It is Snubs. The entire premise with baked beans is that that slurry of crap fills a plate making the person eating them to think they have a big dinner. It is loaded with sugar and is a garbage food. With all that the planet has to offer food wise, its amazing anyone eats crap from a can as a main course.
