My daughters first attempt at making an apple crumble and it truly was granny's quality!
Had it with Mackies ice cream and a drizzle of golden syrup

^ Looks excellent.
I've just put apple crumble on the list for my mum. If I tell her it was a request from her Granddaughter it will happen!
Ta very much I will pass on to my daughter. She learnt it from her grandmother so play your cards right and you might be taking back to Thailand an apple crumble connoisseur!

^^ Wow, nice Joe.
I'm just considering whether to start up a thread about all the different delicacies Mr Kipling has to offer.
After 3 days I've already done Bramley Apple Pies, Almond Slices, Angel Slices and French Fancies... but sadly no photos.
Not to mention these Cadbury chocolate rolls and Crunchie cakes. Who'd have thunk it!
If I start the the thread I'll have to revisit all of these to get some pics.
Oh dear, never mind.
Tonight I knocked this up in 40 seconds flat.

Too tired to make custard? No problem... double cream in your local petrol station shop!
You've gotta love Ol' Blighty.
They also had ready-made tinned custard and a huge variety of ice cream (none containing sweet corn, black beans or green wormy things). The world really is your oyster around these parts!

Washed down with red wine you savage.
A cup of tea is the only beverage to accompany that fine dessert.
^^ It really is Mendy. It's also a diabetically dangerous place to hang your hat.
I haven't tried that sponge from Sainsbury's and I've got some of the Makies left so it would be a shame not to!

Some blueberries and raspberries with double cream - A pistachio cream filled doughnut with double cream
X that by 12 and that's Bsnubs staple diet, without the blueberries..that's far too healthy.
Ok, not exactly a pudding or a dessert, but these fucking things, oh my days!

Daughters first attempt at blueberry muffins. The leper top look is due to her adding crumble mix to the top. We could market it as a leper blueberry muffin

^ I try to eat dragon fruit regularly. It's supposed to have a load of health benefits.
I've recently discovered these little custard injected choux pastry balls at 7-Eleven. They're a bargain at only 27 Baht for six but I'm starting to think they may be pretty heavy on the calories.
But you've gotta live a little... even in Isaan.
This weekend I treated the daughter to choux pastry balls covered with hot chocolate sauce and topped with a dollop of coconut icecream.

When I was a kid, my mum used to use this dark chocolate spread stuff for this kind of thing but lacking that, I just collected anything 'chocolate' I could find.

Not too bad at all, paired with a glass of finest Mont Clair.

But definitely a once a week treat.

That's the kid's birthday sorted. :)
That does look devilishly good, even if my waist did grow 2 inches just from looking at it. :)
The 40kg TNY Bottomless Pit is coming over after her exams and will cook shabu out the front, with a side of homemade burgers.

A Mendclair Au Chocolat as the encore to our delicately balanced 3 courses it is.
I've just realised that I forgot to mention there was a squirt of that aerosol whipped cream stuff around the ice cream.
I imagine you already have some in the fridge anyway?
We're not all kinky-Korattians mate. :)
I love a good carrot cake. And if there's one thing I've learned from Joe it's' buy that fooker right quick and don't fook about eating it either.
Pic not coming out eh?
