    It really isn't.

Burn more calories than you consume = less weight / keto = a form of calorie restriction.

    Simple.

Have you seen the daily exercise one?

I exercise daily, go on, and apparently I'm a convicted pedophile.

Or a pedophile that's not yet convicted.

Haven't actually worked out which one I supposedly am yet.

Is there some sort of correlation between being overweight and getting angry easily?

    Seems to be.

What are you reading most replies were polite and correct, just not what you wanted to hear. IE: Your calorie laden fat bombs are good for you, when they are not.

Not smart? Several members told you of their fitness and weight loss regime that works. We all saw your fat bombs, and commented you should concentrate on portion control and exercise, not which fad diet is the hottest right now.

No are the only one showing anger. Why? Let me answer for you. You are not getting praise for doing the wrong thing. Instead you are getting solid advice from posters who are happy with what they have done to change their life style. Yet you reject it. You will never succeed doing it your way. As has been pointed out this has been going on for 15 years and you are still obese if not morbidly obese at times.

Now do stay gone this time. Vendetta4Real is a better nick and you can go spew somewhere else that you will flounce from.

There is a reason you are single, obese, and unhappy and it has nothing to do with those you consider to be villains on here.

Well she's flounced off to whine over on TC and is getting the attention and sympathy she craves from the beta cuck simps* there.

It'll last until someone says something she perceives as less than 110% support and she'll stamp her feet in a huff and storm off for 5 min.

Picked it like a dirty nose.

Anyway take care, this is what I get for being honest. Impossible. AO and others think they know best just because what they are doing is working. Not everyone does the same thing end of story. Enjoy blah blah'ing about me, I'm just done. It is my own business. And me being honest, just fueled so much rudeness and ignorance. I just can't believe how old some people really are when they act like five years old. They are giving me shit for leaving and getting angry? I'm not angry im just done. I don't want to talk to anyone else about this, because you can't have a normal conversation with this white priviledge people. Done, end of story , bark all you want, say what you want. Get a life people.Ta.

Just a brief update for those that say Keto doesn't work or it is all about calories in/calories out.
Five weeks down and I've lost 20 pounds thus far.

Just letting ya know, for all those that thought there was just one way to lose weight.

It isn't just all about calories in/calories out. Every calorie isn't created equal. I am eating higher fat, medium protein and low carb (20 grams and under) per day. Yes, I've also cut my calories, but it isn't all about calories in /calories out as calories are not all created equal. Good fats, organic meat, and whole foods is the way.

This woman is clearly a few sandwiches short of a picnic (pun intended ).

It's wrong to constantly mock her, but it's also futile to entertain her in rational conversation.

You've got more chance of plaiting sawdust.

I am with MM on this one. It is not as simple as calories in , calories out. Only the simple minded, or those who have not researched the issue, would think it is that simple.
Of course if you use a "Reductio ad absurdum " type pf logic it would be "that simple" , but such logic has little application in real life.
Diet is a complex process. involving calories, how such calories are converted to sugar for consumption, The storage of such sugars into fat for later consumption, the sugar/ insulin/ liver relationship. etc.
If indeed interesting plenty of videos on YouTube , or books on Amazon.
If one is not interested on Keto, one does not need to participate in this thread. But I will tell you this with certainly, we all need to reduce our sugar consumption.
The sooner you fall behind, the more time you have to catch up.

I think I prefer Harvard Medical School

Should you try the keto diet? (2018, 09). Harvard Health Publications.Harvard Health Letter.

It’s advertised as a weight-loss wonder, but this eating plan is actually a medical diet that comes with serious risks.
In the world of weight-loss diets, low-carbohydrate, high-protein eating plans often grab attention. The Paleo, South Beach, and Atkins diets all fit into that category. They are sometimes referred to as ketogenic or “keto” diets.
But a true ketogenic diet is different. Unlike other low-carb diets, which focus on protein, a keto plan centers on fat, which supplies as much as 90% of daily calories. And it’s not the type of diet to try as an experiment.
“The keto diet is primarily used to help reduce the frequency of epileptic seizures in children. While it also has been tried for weight loss, only short-term results have been studied, and the results have been mixed. We don’t know if it works in the long term, nor whether it’s safe,” warns registered dietitian Kathy McManus, director of the Department of Nutrition at Harvard-affiliated Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

This is the only part of your post I agree with. Also the crux of MM's problems. She is addicted to sugar as evidence by this thread. All about sugary treats something I have not eaten in many a year.

    Hi Buck
I don't think many people on this thread, deserve a response. Yes, you are absolutely correct. I am not addicted to sugar, this keto diet is amazing for some people because what it does is decreases your ghrelin which decreases your appetite once you are in ketosis. So, not only do you eat less, your body is burning ketones, so you don't have the insulin spikes when your body is burning glucose as a fuel. So, you are on an even keel all day, you don't have the sugar ups and crashes. I don't eat sugar now at all, its been six weeks. I haven't felt this good in my life. What others are saying is incorrect, and misinformed in regards to me trying to lose weight for fifteen years. I did lose weight in 2014, but I was on an Ideal protein diet where you eat mostly protein and packaged food from this company. It isn't sustainable, so yes most people gain the weight back once they go into the real world and eat carbs.

Anyway, I'm happy and doing excellent, it doesn't matter to me what others are saying and the ignorance from some.
I workout, but any person who has looked into it, knows that exercise is a small portion of losing weight. Diet is 90% of the equation. I do also exercise which helps a lot mentally and burns some calories. Anyway, I think i've figured it out. I've recently hit a bit of a stump and cheated for the first time in six weeks, so I'm trying to get back on track, but people are human as long as we get back on the horse. Take Care, Buck.

I totally agree on both. Look at Sugar: The Bitter Truth on youtube. I use stevia and monkfruit as sweetners now. I recently bought some keto sweets with sugar alcohols which are not carbs and not true sugar, but eating too much of that plays havoc on your digestive system. I've learned my lesson on that.
