So, after the surprisingly good quiche made yesterday the littlest Hat and I are thinking of what to cook Mrs Hat as a Breakfast-in-Bed meal on Sunday.
Any suggestions?

^ A word of warning...
I was made breakfast in bed by my lovely wife a couple of months ago and before I knew it, posters were starting rumours about me and my gardener.
This could lead anywhere... but I would suggest anything that doesn't make crumbs.
I tried that early in my marriage. Found out Thai's dont do breakfast in bed. I was expecting a big " Oh thank you honey". But instead got, "are you out of your mind!!! Ants Ants Ants". That thought had never even entered my mind..
I make my Thai Partner a simple coffee and toast occasionally for a week-end breakie.
It's appreciated and she makes it for me and the Boys 5/6 days a week, so only fair.

If it was me in your situation, get your young 'un to make a home made card and then either take the Family out to her favourite place (if that's allowed) or cook her favourite food.
If the favourite food place is the go but closed, write a fancy cheque which she can redeem in the future for same.

Wednesday, 12 August ... Mother's Day 2020 in Thailand
Thank you all so far!
Well, we don't have a gardener, and even if I did I wouldn't be watching porn with him . . . did you repent before the Lord?
Ah . . . my wife's not Thai
That, she does anyway
Nope, still on lockdown until hopefully next Wednesday when we'll have relaxed guidelines
Yes . . . thank you, but a nice brekkie in bed . . . especially now it's getting cold . . . 3 degrees this morning
Sounds good
Really? She does the whole fasting bit?
Tell her breakfast is brunch and brunch is a BBQ which will be ready when she brings the beer back from the shops.
Mother's Day was in March and has nothing to do with Mothers...as my mum told us when we gave her breakfast many years ago. She was grateful for it though and said we could do the same every Sunday since she had to cook the dinner.

A good afrodisiac and way to turn it into abitofowsyafatherday
Make it simple and convenient, Hats.
McDonald's take out.
^ its ration times, war time spirit and all that so its improvise time - war time recipes called for slugs as an oyster replacement - she'll never know
And I was obviously being a bit dense
That sounds nice . . . we have frozen strawberries . . . crêpes are relatively easy . . . we have champagne . . . Gute Idee danke.
And on the other end of the spectrum . . . also a good suggestion. Can also use the strawberries or feijoa

Made this for mom one Mother's Day and she loved it.

^ Yea . . . wasn't going to comment . . . but frog is quite yummy - but that doesn't look like frog meat
But brekkie? Hmmm, thank you anyway, Norton (plus, where to get frog in a 'meat and two veg is a delicacy' country)
