Lunch Yesterday. Marinated pork tenderloin, Taters and Carrots.
Rate my Council Estate Plate
Horseshoe gammon fried in garlic butter, 7/11 bread fried in garlic butter and gammon fat, mashed tatties and gravy from KFC.
Something for the beer to fall on.
Pre alcohol.
Late lunch.
So I got out of bed to do some shopping today and decided I need some lunch. I stopped off at a pho place I had never been to before...
Getting a lay of the land...
Cold and rainy still...
A beer first...
Time to eat...
I got one of the beers stacked in the other pictures. The girl put an ice cube in it.
BLD, you boil the fish for around 5 mins then remove it. break it all up into flakes when you add it back in at the end.
That was a practice run, I made another pot at my bar on my birthday. When I added the tatties and onion I decided to tip the bowl away from me. The steam hit the metal bowl and the whole thing sipped from my fingers into the boiling hot water and burnt my hands and wrists. Hurt like fuck.
It was a big hit all the same.
DW, the broth is so good you cant walk past the pot without filling up a cup. Nice n smokey.
That looks great, I just love sprouts. The meal doesn't have the usual coating of black pepper?
To be honest I would have probably replaced the cauliflower with peas, or maybe even have kept the cauliflower but still added a portion of peas.
^ Didn't know you like her.
Is this some kind of charity event fronted by her?
Set Fire to the Rain is a future classic.
Cracked black pepper in the gravy, ground white pepper added while whipping the mash and rolling the sprouts around in butter. Lots of pepper was used because I really like it and it pisses some people off
You'd add peas to a pizza if nobody was looking!
What a game! Then switched over to NRL to watch the Bronco's get out of jail against the Dogs. Now the Weagles v Suns are playing and there's live golf on tv in about an hour. I love Sundays
Tuna with penne. A simple home-cooked lunch.
IMO, somethings should never be served hot. This included tomatoes, cuecumbers, crabsticks, salmon and tuna.
Well, cucumbers should just never be served, and the only time I can agree with you on tuna is with tuna, sweetcorn and mayo sandwiches (no cucumber, obviously). Cold and should always stay that way (tuna melt butties always taste weird with warm melted cheese and lukewarm
tuna).
Edit: Oh, and that tuna pasta salad that the likes of M&S sell is ok cold as well.
Tinned tuna and pasta with a tomato sauce though? Easy, healthy and tasty. Tuna pasta bake is another winner winner, tuna dinner IMO.
Seared tuna steak- is that classed as hot or cold? I've got a friend who won't touch the stuff because he says it's neither.

The Koshary Chronicles, part 1532.
A solid 7/10 (it needed more fried onions). If you're reading this, Nev, which I'm sure you are, it's one from your old stomping ground.
What the fvck is that?
Did you eat that for a bet?
You can never slag off my grub again after posting that!
