Early lunch today, very early as the winks have to hit the road. The lamb was a little too done for me but they won't eat it red as they call it
Shoulder of local lamb which is excellent, roast pots, red onions, carrots, peas and broccoli.

Looks good, but no mint sauce available I presume?
^^ That looks absolutely excellent Mike. I did a shoulder of lamb a couple of weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed it but our local Makro has had no lamb at all in this year so it remains a memory. When lamb finally arrives in Makro again I'm gonna get a load of it.
Far be it for me to criticise... but personally I would have had a bigger portion of peas and a dollop of mint jelly!
Edit: Hal, I'm not at all posh but I go mint jelly over sauce every time these days.
The mint sauce went on at the table, its a must but no red currant jelly. I'm gonna have an old person snooze once i get some peace and quiet
I have mint sauce and stuffing with any roast I have: lamb, beef, pork, turkey, chicken. I could just murder one now with a giant Yorkie too.
God bless the Great British roast dinner!
I wouldn't turn either down, but choosing jelly over sauce is almost as unfathomable as choosing garden over mushy!
^ Lets go with 'a trip to Makro Bangkok'.
My bladdy passport is good for another 5 years.
^ Why not stop at Pattaya on the way back from Koh Chang/Lanta/Samet?
There's more lamb there than HW can shake a stick at.
Looks pretty damn good Mike, but if you don't mind me saying, those spuds look uniformly the same, a lot like Aunt Bessie's.
I trust I'll find the dessert in the pudding thread?
parmigiana?
you can't really go wrong, My only problem with spag bol is it seems to disappear too quickly, i seem to have an ability to demolish a kilo or more of the stuff, can't do that with other food.
^Must admit to having no self control when it comes to plating up after cooking up a huge batch too, it's just too fucken more-ish
At least it can be frozen in reasonable portion sizes.
Yeah Parmesan, not parmigiana
Buy the man some bacon! For gawd’s sake!
^Tasted great, crispy skins too which doesn't happen when cooked in the oven which is how I've always done them before. Half the cooking time, almost no mess, and they're really juicy. The only way to go from now on.
Today was Lad Na. Wife cooked up wide crispy noodles then did up the Pork with Cauliflower and Broccoli in the sauce. Add some chili's and ready to go
6 pack maintenance.
late lunch. One of me 5 a day, actually its one of me 3 times a week i don't eat meat. Peppers, Toms, Red Onions, Beetroot, Cucumber with some Olive Oil.
