Currently in an anxious state. The wife is waiting for a courier delivery of books that were not delivered yesterday because we were out. And so, life returns to a semblance of normality. I'm not a 'bar' person per se, just frequent restaurants that have a bar type atmosphere. Within the area I live, the Phuket Yacht Club is what I'd describe as my 'local'. Decent bar, good food, and a view which is hard to beat. Today, with the national relaxation, the restaurant is serving alcohol again. The stools have been removed from the bar for 'social distancing', but plenty of tables to accommodate people.
Nice to have one of my favourites, grilled snapper on a potato cake with a spinach and cream sauce, but first a pre lunch beer.
