    Chitty's Homemade Scottish Sausages

Bought 1.5kg of sausage meat coz it was like the budgie.....cheap!

The theme is Scottish sausages after all, so it's best to be canny from the start

Never knew why the Scots had square sausages, but it's a good idea coz it covers the toast nicely.

    Time for some dietary re-education...

It's called Lorne sausage, and is usually 50/50 pork and beef, btw...

CCC, I spend a lot of time in Scotland and to be honest only the drunkest, stonedest, fucked up, poverty stricken, oik would even consider eating such shite.

Unless you had some beans and maybe a bit of mash.....

It's...OK. Just square sausage, basically. Certainly better than that 'pliesesque' mess above. The minced beef makes it a bit less fatty.

A third morning would have had me hitting the muesli, though.

Indeed. There's a big difference in what one might get in a restaurant or a b&B and the shite shown above.

Just add Siracha sauce and a lettuce leaf and you gotta Pattaya Plies special. I've eat so unhealthy here in Myanmar and feel it. Looking forward to salads that haven't been washed in local water and chicken that isn't just "not quite bad yet".

It's basically ground pork and ground beef with seasonings shaped in a square....

Lorne sausage is pretty good but it’s a once a week thing, Sunday morning.

McD's sausage patties have a dash of msg. Try one and see. That much msg in the morning is weird. Never again.

Which would mean hauling your punk ass to a McD's before 11am.

They sure as hell are not home made. Straight out of the package with nothing added at all.

Not sure about Scotland but many greasy cafes in England serve those terrible catering sausages from Booker wholesale...you know the ones, they come frozen in bags of about 50 for about ten quid
