I would count that as very lucky. Not sure horse and candy are good first choices in the long run. Your first two words only cover 3 vowels.

Dozens of versions now. Quordle, four words at a time. Not that difficult to be honest.

It hasn't beat me yet, had a few on the last attempt though.

But, I always play all the known letters starting with line 3.

Is it just me or has there been an uptick in difficulty since the NYT took it over.

^ According to a story in the ABC news today, a lot of people are saying that too. The NYT says they have not made it harder, but they have removed “offensive” words ....so don’t try slave or wench as they have been banned. It is also only in American dialect now, so words in real, international English don’t count either.
