The sun seems low in the sky so the pic was taken facing westwards. Looks like background is a coastline with a small island. Looks too wide to be the Maekong.

Nah . . . Why the need for instant gratification? TD posters are located on most continents, therefore many timezones . . . no stress.

Head South from Lamai and keep following the coast road until you see the right turn for elephant trekking, quad biking, cable ride and waterfalls. Follow that road to the top of the mountain.

Beautiful spot and I'm sure a large amount of posters have been up there.
