I have a daughter who is 3 years and 3 months.
I plan to send her to a bilingual school.
She seems very young for her age but I am concerned about her not going to school and mixing with other children.
What age do you think is a good time to start?
Is 3 years and 3 months too young?
Yes it's too young to send at school. Either 4 or 5 years old is better.

My boy went to nursery from the age of 6 months, he is now nearly three and one of the most confident and friendly kids in any play ground.
I strongly believe that the interaction with other kids and other adults (carers) has helped tremendously in his social development and given him a good kick start educationally.

But as for starting school proper, I think that a kid needs more time to play and develop social skills.

Thats about the age I bought my daughter her first puter and educational software, but she was with me all the time and some friend would come visit with her same age kids or we went to visit some.

And thats right, she was with me and advanced far beyond her years, people would talk to her and could not believe she was 4 or 5 years old and able to carry on an intelligent conversation, figured her age at 8 or 9 usually, but had to ask because she looked like a 4 year old.
She helped me daily on a refurbish of a Lincoln Cont. Mk7,, 72 Dodge Dart restore and building the pickup in my AV.

My boys are starting on Mon actually. Which is also their birthday, 2yrs old.

We've been taking them once per week to a playgroup for the last 6mths and they love that, this will just be an extended version of that as far as I'm concerned.

    Started both ours at 3yo.

They love school and the 4yo is reading basically already and doing simple math and take away.

Highly recommended in this day and age to start early...especially in Asia where the kids do not mix with your mates up the road and fool around all day together.
I like poisoning my neighbours dogs till they die cos I'm a cnut
