I shouldn't worry too - my two kids love school. I think the parents are often more worried about it than the children!
    Which school?

The first day or even week will be tough, depends entirely on yourself and the child.

But after that, they should love it and it is great for them, learn lots and make new friends.

Most important, if she cries, let the teachers deal with it. They usually have good experience with it over many years.....more than you.

Of course, if they are being harsh about it, tell them to fuck off and find another school.

First week will be the hardest if they are the quite shy type, My daughter didnt like being left at school and cried every time I left for about the first week but my son on the other hand couldnt get in there quick enough. it depends on how they relate to there teacher as well as it is a big step for kids that have only been with family and then are left in the hands of a bunch of stranger.
I now bribe them with a trip to 7/11 on most days and they cant get in the car quick enoungh, if they get up late and we are running late for school no toy from 7/11.
I know its probably not really good but hey it works

Our lad started playschool a little while back and loves it. He's moving schools soon to a more academically minded place at the beginning of next month. Not so sure he'll like it as much, but it's tough titties if he doesn't.
