    Chachiengsao also has the temple with the bats, about 30 minutes north North east of the town.

    It's where i met the guy with elephantitis of the foot some time ago.

    Also a market called the 100 years market (Talad Roi Bii).

    I always meant to do a thread of the pics of my day there, never got round to it.

    Great report and it makes a nice day trip from Pattaya.

    This is one of the top temples in Thailand and really respected by many Thai's...

    Yeh, typical Thailand- they'll just nod and smile, then give you the standard boiled fish with that spicy lemon soup.

    The name of the dish is Plaa Tod Nam Pla.
    It's a generic fish dish, in this case the type of fish was Plaa Klapong. ie seabass.

    But no doubt, you'll still end up with the boiled fish.

    Wat Po is the temple with the bats in Bang Khla

    Chacheonsaos other name is Bet Reu - or something like that, something to do with the 8 slices they can make in their large fish
